Best Investment for a Healthier World

World Health Worker Week 2024

Dates: April 1 - 7, 2024

Theme: Safe and Supported: Invest in Health Workers

This World Health Worker Week will bring together advocates, health workers, practitioners, leaders, and communities around the world to call for greater funding and faster implementation of commitments to protect and support health workers. Led by the Frontline Health Workers Coalition and our partners, it's a time to influence policymakers and other decision-makers to translate policies and promises into long-term investments in the health workforce and integration in health systems. Doing so not only strengthens the health of communities, but also pays other development dividends.

Join Us

Mark your calendars to take part in this global advocacy moment! Last year thousands of people around the world participated in World Health Worker Weekincluding health workers, advocates, policymakers, and donorsand we reached millions of people.

From April 1 - 7, let's raise awareness about the importance of health workers and engage even more people in advocacy. Together we'll urge leaders from the global to the community level to follow through on their commitments and invest in, protect, and support the health workforce—especially women health workers.
